Re: Kill Bill: Lighten up, already!


I saw this last night. It's funny you should bring up who writes better dialog. As a QT fan in the past, particularly as he tends to generate dialog driven movies (granted, that's hard to say for someone with so few movies out) this movie really had weak dialog. As this was the less action/more talk of the two Bills, that led me to be a little let down. I hoped for witty, interesting conversation. Not here. I guess I agree that this could have been one movie instead of two. The editting in Part 2 was rather slow.

I did somewhat enjoy the film. David Carradine was worth watching. It was a little more interesting than many of the movies that are thrown together these days. The fact that this goes on many people's list of the best in American cinema these days is a testament to the sad condition we are in. Guess I should stick to renting for a while.
