...not to get bludgeoned over the head by the Forrest-Gump-esque sentimentality. The movie took itself too seriously. It was highly entertaining, though.I do think Tim Burton is generally getting better, and I am sure that his upcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, will be a delicious romp.
