Rented the movie 'Returner' the other night, and while the Japanese film combines elements of 'Terminator', 'The Matrix', 'Independence Day', 'E.T.', and even 'Transformers' it is quite enjoyable... the CGI is very good and the two leads are excellent (the acting being over-the-top in an asian martial arts sort of way)
I was really impressed by Ann Suzuki who was actually 14 or 15 when this was filmed... turns out she was a very big child actress back in the nineties in Japan
Language is in both Japanese and English in some parts, but I found it played best in Japanese language with subtitles on as I cannot stand to watch a dubbed movie
