The Bourne Supremacy

Frenetic editing almost made this sequel too uncomfortable to watch. We do not see the picture postcard Europe of the first film as it was faster paced and had somber, noir-like quality. There's little to no character development due to the high rate of action sequences and it's not needed as there is only one new principal face, Joan Allen. That's not to say this is a bad movie at all, in fact, it equals the first for entertainment value but on an entirely different level. Introducing Russian villians is a timely plot spin and the chase scenes through the streets of "Moscow" certainly won't attract tourists.

The ending leaves room for another adventure (or does it?) so we'll have to see how this does at the cash register.
