Sort of a "Unforgiven" with cows and a romance thrown in. Costner was much better than I was expecting. Duvall was good as usual.
One really good thing - the sound effects. I watched it off my Dish Network receiver with surround sound etc (it was in Dolby Digital). The gunshots, splinters, and ricochets (and there plenty) sounded very good.
