A Naziholic's delight. Chabrol deftly assembled and edited both Vichy and Nazi news reels to show the history of Vichy France under Petain. The reels, shown in French theatres, extolled the brotherhood and shared struggle of France and Germany against capitalism, Jews, and communism while tossing about the term "new world order".
Most of the footage would be "new" to the average History Channel junkie and is a must see for a middle-aged history buff.
