RGA,I must not be the only one completely bored with James Bond. The multiplicity of actors playing this role, the repetition of silly world dominance themes, the silly emphasis on hardware, the 2-D women and villains for me is all done since 1970. This franchise is so dull now, the most important, most promoted element of each new Bomnd film ihas become what model of car he drives- with it be an Aston, Lotus, or BMW?.
To me, "Casino Royale" and "Austin Powers" are equally interesting to the last 35 years of Bond films and the satire is too easy. I don't know how anyone over the age of 10 wouldn't prefer good adaptations of John LeCarre. The real workings of the intelligence community are far more bizarre and interesting than these discount comic book figures like Bond has descended to.
How about a new super-hero "Shiela Diamond: Stripperspy". She could have specially-equipped "spy-bras" that save the World..
