Moroccan sheik Sean Connery kidnaps American ambassor's widow Candace Bergen and her two children. Against the advice of his friend and cabinet member John Huston, Teddy Roosevelt (Brian Keth) sends in the marines. The trailer for this would have you believe that it's on a level with "Gone With the Wind" and "Dr. Zhivago". Not. In fact, parts of it are downright silly. There is much dust and some good horsmenship and many battle scenes but the whole fim is just not that memorable.
