Caught that quiet but intriguing film on True Stories last night... well, most of it, anyway.
A somewhat predictable drama, but very interesting for its fine British acting, and its costumes.
Natasha Little truly shines in this modest work, and the rest of the crew is a treat to your eys after a long day as well, the atmosphere is right and involving, and all along I kept thinking of a friend - she is a professor of history of costume - how she would enjoy the show!
It is so nice to see unfamiliar good actors.
I wonder if anyone else has seen it.
