This is thr fourth Dirty Harry film and it was produced and directed by Eastwood himself. Although marginally better than the dismal "The Enforcer" (third in the series) it is still a step down from D/H itself and its first sequel, "Magnum Force". Clint's galpal at the time, Sondra Locke, stars as a woman on a revenge rampage against a gang who britalized her sister. A change of venue sends Harry south to the California coastal area. Shot in widescreen Panavision. Ths DVD in the box set is anamorphic and has(ersatz) 5.1 DD sound.
