need help finding movie titles

there are some movies that i've seen that i can't find the titles of- i have looked everywhere to no avail.
1.) some old horror movie, probably from the 80s or early 90s. it's about a couple that's looking for a new house, and they find their dream home but an old woman lives in it. it's a gigantic house/mansion and it is haunted- the old woman gets killed by the ghost. she's watching tv and the radio keeps turning on by itself, and then she eventually ends up getting murdered in the bathtub. the couple find her dead- they move into the house. there's a scene where the electrician turns off the electricity, the ghost turns it on, and the man is electrocuted and almost killed. i can remember SO much of this movie, just not the title! there's a black dog that the husband sees on the beach, and he turns out to be a ghost. and the husband realizes this in a scene at the end when he's in a bar and there's a picture of that same dog that was taken a long, long time ago. the wife is a photographer and in her dark room she sees a ghost in one of her pictures. but the ghost in the house is actually a man who lost his wife and he thinks that the mortal woman is his long lost love. and at the end he is trying to seduce her and i think there's a fight.. LOL anyway it was really good. the title was something like "house on... hill" or along those lines.
2.) the major thing i remember about this movie is that a child drowns in the beginning... and his/her sibling goes to see him lying in the casket during the night, when all of a sudden, the dead child gasps as if he's coming to life- but he's not, it's just because he drowned. but it's very scary.
3.) in the beginning, a woman is running in the rain and she goes into a cave where she gives birth to a baby, but it doesn't make it. she's barely alive and she stumbles onto this village where people look down on her, except one family takes her in. she is very quiet and i think she falls in love with one of the men- there's a scene of her catching him watching her through the bushes and running along side of him.. and they go into a boat too. can't remember much else, it was based on times a long time ago obviously.
4.) this one is called "alone in the dark" or it has a title very similar to it (except this specific alone in the dark didn't show up on imdb.) it's about a little boy who is going blind and he has to wear these odd glasses, and he's extremely disturbed. he lives in a small town and he ends up killing his pet.. there's something very wrong with him, the movie is VERY dark and disturbing. i can't remember much else.
i guess that is all for now.. there is more but these are the ones that really bother me. thank you!
