Has anyone seen any of the hilarious episodes from Moore's 'The Awful Truth' TV series? It appeared for 2 seasons on cable TV, and is now out on DVD. On one of the episodes, Mike and company stage a 'mock funeral' in front of HMO Humana Healthcare, because the company would not cover a Pancreas transplant for a dying patient who desperately needed the surgery fast! Turns out that after Moore's stunt, the company decided to cover the surgery after all (of course), and all subsequent Pancreas surgeries!!!!
The subjects/injustices Moore touches about are serious, and his methods of getting attention, hilarious and genius. Moore has very big, brass American balls, and they feature prominently in 'The Awful Truth'. An absolute HOOT!!!
