One of my all time favs, and I saw it (for about the 10th time) last night. Not exactly sure why I like this movie so much. While I'm not a baby boomer, I do identify with the characters' conflicts regarding a deterioration of integrity/enthusiasm/optimism post-college. One of the things that struck me as I was watching last night was how much I enjoyed Jeff Goldblum's role. Normally, I can not stand Goldblum, but he plays this part in TBC so convincingly. His character describes himself as an investigative journalist, but in reality he writes for People magazine. He reveals himself to be an ass in almost every scene. William Hurt is great as well.
I have also seen Secaucas Seven (sp?) which has a similar theme as TBC. But I didn't care for SS too much.
