Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

The Decalogue is the greatest film(s) ever made.

A Short Film About Love is languorously paced, but is hardly as boring or as contrived as you suggest. Having said that, the shorter version is much better, with an ending that's far more visceral and biting.

Your dismissal of Kieslowski's admirers as unsophisticated and inexperienced is amusing, given that a quick perusal of your reviews on this forum reveals you to be a middle-brow and an imperceptive middling intellect, a transparent poseur with an overinflated sense of self-importance that's belied by your inadequate critical faculties and writing skills. I'm not sure what level of respect you command in this small pond; perhaps here you're perceived as a large, knowledgable fish. Are there any more advanced film forums you frequent where you're taken even remotely seriously?
