Re: "Mrs. Doubtfire"

For me, Robin Williams falls into love/hate. Some films, I think he does a good job, services the plot and story, and acts within the pace of the film. Other times, he acts so goofy, and his performance exists on it's own, with no eye toward the plot. I truly enjoyed him in this film, probably because he spent most of his screen time as someone else, and was probably forced to tone down his schtick in service of the plot. One of those films that has a heart, without being overly melodramatic.
