I watched the season premier; pretty dissapointed to be honest. I think Miami has the opportunity (Everglades being a unique and very cool environment for a show such as this) to be as good as the original, but.... David Caruso.
For starters, he tries to portray himself as a tough guy. Sorry, it's a no go for me. He'd scare me about as much as your average 10 year old (well, except that he has a gun). And he plays exactly the same poses in every episode. Put the sunglasses on now David... ah, thanks (again!). OK, now stand sideways and put your hands on your waist. Ah, OK, now the show is complete.
Is it just me? I can't even watch anymore. If they want a tough guy, can they not find someone who at least looks imposing and who doesn't repeat the exact same poses every show?
Done venting. Now onto CSI original on Thursday, I'll still give New York a go (it is still on, right?).
