Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

WARNING--story disclosure. I too really like it. Based on its previews, I did not see it in theatrical release...

...but bought the DVD later.

It's a wonderful morality tale, with Affleck ultimately doing several right things and REALLY getting to his 2 partners/badguys and even his corrupted wife, played by the beautiful Amanda Peet in a small role.

The title is a little twist on the 2 big changes in the movie--Affleck's ethics and Samuel Jackson's bad fortune. William Hurt was very good as Jackson's AA buddy. Hurt is SO correct when he screams at Jackson that Jackson's drug of choice isn't alchohol, it's chaos.

Toni Collette is great as Affleck's colleage and moral anchor.
