Any list is bound to create a "why is this on the list and why is this not on the list" and then "why is that number one, number 12 is better".Here are 13 movies to enjoy for Halloween and what i would recommend. Halloween is supposed to be fun so the following are not necessarily horror films meant to scare.

Arachnophobia
Dawn of the Dead (1979)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
Halloween
The Exorcist
Young Frankenstein
Nosferatu: The Vampyre
The Thing (1982)
American Werewolf in London
Fright Night
Return of the Living dead (send more paramedics)
The Terminator
