Charlie Rose had four critics, A.O. Scott of the New York Times, Lisa Schwartzbaum, David Denby, and Richard Corliss of Time Magazine on his show last night talking about the film. I did not want to watch too much of the show because I do not like to hear too many opinions of a film before I see it, and with that caveat, the consensus seemed to be that it is a very powerful film, marred slightly by an ending which "cops out." They also discussed critisms that the film is soft on Israel, which is neither here nor there relative to the quality of the film.
