My favorite films of hers, were "A Double Life,' 'Winchester 73' and "A Place In The Sun." Such a finely honed character actor that it was easier to take her for granted. Kind of reminds me of a female Rod Steiger; I meant no disrespect with that analogy. A big brassy bitch/hellion, and she could make you feel sorry for her at the same time. And as a public figure she spoke her mind with candor. She was a hollywood blowhard, but I couldn't help but pay attention to her. Star power to the end. Hell, she even got married hours before she died. What a character! Bon Voyage, baby.
