Written and directed by Julian fellowes and starring Tom Wilinson, Emily Watson and Rupert Everett, this is a very good and very adult film. Adult in the sense of being about people around 50 (except the younger Everett, which has an irony later in the storyline).
I don't think I would have got this film at 20 or even 30.
Its about the decisions we make and they way these effect other people, the people we care about, and how those effects can be bad without us even trying.
No clues here as to the plot as its such a small film, so close a group that anything would spoil it.
Good supporting cast too.
See it when you can, ut if you have just had a divorce then caution is advised...
