Wah Wah

Not a eulogy for guitar effects pedals but Richard E. Grant's autobiographical tale of growing up amongst British ex pats in Swaziland at the end of the 60s.
This film really grew on me throughout. I started thinking it a little disjointed bt realised this was actually how "adult" things sem to children as they are left out of the loop and presented with results and often used as pawns between rowing couples.
Some moments are quite painful particularily if you had a difficult childhood while others are very funny.
Just like life really.
Bizarrely realistic at times about the ugliness of the British class system.
I wholeheartedly recommend this film.
Its a real "you'll laugh, you'll cry" film and the audience audibly loved it.
Good sized audience for a wet Sunday too.
