Its a Bollywood megawork.
NO singing. NO mass dancing.
A plot about a girl who is blind and deaf who learns to communicate through a half lifelong relationship with a teacher.
The start has shades of Peter Greenaway. There is a central section in a University that looks like something out of Harry Potter.
At the stat everything is very dark, in the middle colours appear and by the end whole rooms are white.
The girl walks like Charlie Chaplin and bizarrely there is a Chaplin season running for several years at the university cinema.
Its bewildering.
SOme scenes are quite shocking in the treatment of the young girl.
Its totally fascinating.
Totally.
