"Working Girl"

Diretor Mike Nichols is at the top of his form here in this story of a big haired but bright secretary (Melanie Griffith) working for a high powered executive (Sigourney Weaver) who encourages her to submit ideas she comes up with. When Weaver is laid up out of state because of a skiing accident Griffth learns that Weaver had planned to steal her idea about a merger and begins to impersonate an executive to effect the idea herself. She wangles an appointment with deal maker Harrison Ford, who unbeknownst to Griffith is in the middle of an affair with Weaver. Hord and Griffith fall in love and are about to consumate the deal when a recovering Weaver appears back on the scene and throws a monkey wrench into the proceedings. In an ebding somewhat similar in tone to that of Nichols' "The Graduate" Griffith is saved and all ends well. Laughs along the way and a lot of fun. Some great shots of Griffith is sexy lingerie, too.
