Anyone know where John Quade has been?

IMDB has his last appearance as 1993. He plays grubby sheriffs and untrustworthy creeps very well. His more familiar role was Cholla in 'Every which way but loose' and also the sequel, with the big 'ol spider tatoo on his belly. He's an old favorite of mine with such a unique persona and slimy attitude. Maybe he just did an early retirement or is kicking back somewhere because of some chronic illness.
