I felt I was msiing something as I got the impression most of the audience had heard the real radio show, but am not aware of it ever being broadcast in Britain, but Australia used to have it.
The acting is great, the cast are well... cast (you can tell I am on form tonight!) Lily Tomlin is tremendous and Streep much better than I thought her on Prada.
The humour is very Altman even if it may be authentically Companion-ish.
I highly recommend this film... it hugely enjoyable.
