'Target Earth', former 2004, 50 years after latter, 1954. I lamented
in a previous DVD review of 'Target Earth' that due low budget, that
film suffered heavily in effects, i.e., just one invading robot and laughable at that, (Chicago was setting for an 'army' of invading alien-built robots.) But in 'Sky Captain' the robots (devised by a mad-scientist) are multiple and menacing in their invasion of NYC. ~AH
