Disbarred death row attornewy Aiden Quinn attempts to discover evidence that will exonerate sexy Connie Nielson, convicted and on death row for the kidnap murder of an infant ten years before. As the film opens, however, Quinn sees this as just anoither money maker, as he has turned to selling correspondence and memorabilia of executed felons up to and after their execution. Since this is a heavily publicized case, he sees it as especially remunerative. He joins forces with Kelly Preston, Neilson's never say die attorney, and as evidence is uncovered that points to Nielson's innocence he undergoes an epiphany and seeks to help Nielson. Preston, however, discovers his unsvory reputation and conflict ensues. There is a surprise ending that many will guess along the way. But for a film with no big stars it is well acted and holds one's interest. Also known as "Return to Sender".
