I watched this on TV yesterday and was even more impressed by it than when I first saw it.
Carrey, at the time, I believe, the highest paid actor in Hollywood, playing against type to produce an amazingly powerful and moving performance as the star/victim of the show.
Peter Weir brings out the best in everyone and I seriously consider this to be one of the best films I've ever seen.
The last scene where Truman discovers the big secret is one of my favourites of all time.
There is a poetry to this film that I could watch repeatedly over the years.
