This is based on the French stories and stars Romain Duris and Kristn Scott Thomas.
ITs 2 hours of high paced, extremely French film making. Enough plot twists for probably 2 more leisurely paced films and it not only requires you to concentrate but a degree of suspension of disbelief although I think most of it actually makes sense!
What you get is the kind of film thta does not keep stopping to remind you of what is going on but plunges forward on a giddy ride through 19th century France that makes a great and I mean great way to spend a holiday afternoon or evening.
Its stylish, sexy and would suit a bottle of good red wine.
Good music as well.
