What is there to say that hasn't been said... it was not an easy movie for me to watch or maybe, not a pleasant movie, is a better way to say it.
Loved Truffaut's direction and I'm extremely impressed by the performance of Jean-Pierre LÃ©aud. He showed us so much while saying so little about how he was feeling. And then when he did open up... it was heartbreaking.
And even though such things are over or improperly used now the freeze frame was perfect.
I guess I have to watch the other two parts of the trilogy now.
