Over the top big mess of a story that is very high on flash and nice editing and you see Emile Hirshes racing grimace a lot. A simple story of good vs bad, a small family against the big corporation. None of it makes much sense but somehow a message that tugs a bit at your heartstrings comes thru in the end where Speed Racer (his name) triumphs. Yes cars can fly and if you can be very forgiving some fun can be had, your senses can be filled and you can leave the rest of your brain behind, you will not need it...
