With Ford and Oldman playing Gates and Jobs (respectively) this film projects (to me) what these two old lions would be doing in the near future. Trying to finish each other off. Usually a pleasure to see both Oldman and Ford on screen but it's just too bad they weren't on screen enough. This film threw in a Hemsworth and Amber Heard to make it a "young" movie and even had Richard Dreyfus slumming in a cameo.
I presume this film was a dovetail for 'Jobs' but unfortunately doesn't measure up to the "loftiness" of Ashton Kutcher. If you only have time to see one Silicon Valley soap opera don't make it this one.
