Interesting movie, it didn't rock my world if you will. I would recommend people to watch it. One scene was totally clever and I will spoil it in the next paragraph. It is not pivotal in anyway to the story but I thought it was perhaps one of the most unique things I've seen in a movie in a long time.

OK here goes, you've been warned. A character in the film was raised by a single mom. At one point it gets into how she had a boyfriend and shows this character, say at about age 10, playing catch with a baseball in the front yard with the boyfriend.

The camera view is from the side and the camera pans from the boy on the left to the boyfriend on the right as the ball is thrown. Then the ball is thrown back to the boy from right to left. This goes on for about eight or ten throws and each time the boyfriend is a different guy. I thought it a very cool way of showing something much differently than how is most often shown in films.
