RE: and that's just one review

FWIW, Joe Morgenstern gave Mocking Jay-pt 1a generally positive review in the WSJ. He's usually pretty tough on movies of this type.

Personally, I've found the novels and the movies to date are interesting because they're presented on at least two levels: the life and times of a reluctant teenage female action hero and a higher level examination of governmental ideologies and the hazy line between "good" and "evil" esp regarding the methods of promoting and propagating them. In between there are numerous pokes at the superficiality of current western civilization as evident in the entertainment industry, marketing and so on.
