"No Jews or Protestants were harmed during the making of this film."

That should have been a disclaimer on the end credits. This was a powerful film based on the reporting of the Boston Globe concerning systemic, church-wide suppression of child molestation in the Boston Diocese. I found it EDUCATIONAL and hard hitting in disclosing the staggering numbers of priests involved in child abuse who have been protected and kept in service of the church.

This was a cavalcade of great talent spread across the screen with Keaton, Ruffalo, and Tucci having the most pertinent screen time. There is nothing bad about this film other than having to pay keen attention to all the names that come into play. That is staggering in itself.

Knowing the Hollywood demographic I can easily see this showing up in the Best Picture voting. This isn't an entertainment as much as it seems to be an education.

Catholics need to have a really thick skin for this one.

Lotsa hair pieces!
