Eye in the Sky - Helen Mirren in the highly rated realistic look at the ethics of drone warfare - Wonka probably thought it was too political - for me just about right - B
-- Actually, I liked it and was very frustrated they took that one piece of collateral damage so seriously. This blood thirsty American would have had the same reaction as depicted of our leadership. "Damn the collateral damage, full speed ahead."
WTF - Tina Fey as an Afghanistan war correspondent - a few laughs, some good lines and I like Tina Fey a lot - B-
-- Felt it kind of captured the feeling of war zone addiction. Plenty of crazy and I enjoyed the mindless hijinks. I want to marry Tina Fey.
Midnight Special - police and others search for and chase a boy with special powers - critics liked it, me not so much - C-
-- Kind of pointless. A movie based on someone's idea of a "mystery". I wanted my time back.
