I'll probably be happy to see this one when it has trickled down to commercial TV. Meantime I have to say that as much as many folks knock Reeve's on-screen personna, or the depth of his acting skill, he continues to get work in Hollywood. There must be money in it for the investors and bankers or he wouldn't be working so much. So there it is.
I have to say that the John Wick film wasn't completely bad for me. I found it to be an entertaining action flick if not a believable one. And the 47 Ronin movie, probably disappointed devotees of Japanese folk culture and their domestic films. For me it was ok for one sitting. I likely won't sit for it a second time. No complaints.
And the matrix trilogy, as bad as the 3rd installment was, they still stand as worthwhile movies in my estimation. At least the movies explored an interesting subject for me, virtual reality, etc. The fact that Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss simply had no apparent chemistry to spark those slow drip romantic scenes caused me to cringe a little, but I was able to get past that and continue with the rest of the movie. (Reloaded)
So, I'll likely see this one when it doesn't cost me too much money or effort. The time spent watching a movie we as movie goers surrender freely. And this is time that may require budgeting.
