Just saw a ten minute YouTube that explained the movie. The entire thing is an allegory from almost frame one until the end. I guess butchering the story of Noah wasn't enough.

Below is the link but I wouldn't watch it unless you have already seen the film. This thing wooshed right over my pretty little head.
