Mkuller - We loved it and I thought about it for a day or two, something that's rare these days for me.
The entire cast was terrific and the Richard Jenkins performance was beautiful. And Michael Shannon was cast perfectly, in a role reminiscent of his Boardwalk Empire character. He was fun to watch. We also enjoyed how all the characters were archetypes but still had depth and nuance. A breath of fresh air.
And yes, the art direction was stunning enough to make the effort to see it on the big screen.
