Suspension of disbelief is necessary if you are to except the lightening speed domestication of an Ice Age wolf. But, most of the audience and their kids will have no probs. This is a glance back at how "good it was" back in the olden days: Going on the annual bison hunt with flint spears and a lot of fortitude.

Keda, son of Tau, sets out on his first big hunt that ends in a near death fall for him. Luckily, he manages to nurse a wolf back from death's door which beings a slowly developing relationship. See the credits and you got it.

This is pretty safe for families and kids as was its intentions. Nice CGI and landscapes please the eyes. The only caution is Keda's fall to a ledge then subsequent fall while climbing down. The run time is standard and won't be the cause of young fidgeting.
