I can overlook one or two minor plot holes, but not when an entire movie is composed of nothing but massive gaps in logic.
I understand what Prometheus *wanted* to do, but it failed miserably in the execution. The original screenplay was better, but then it got the Lindelof treatment, which turned it into something randomly incoherent for people with short attention spans. That's Lindelof's stock in trade - random weirdness for the sake of random weirdness.
I'd rather rewatch Aliens 3 and 4 than Prometheus again!
