I'm sure how to classify this film. Drama, docudrama, historical drama, etc? This film lays out the events of Norway's worst terrorist attack in 2011 where seventy-seven people were killed by the acts of Anders Breivik.

We see the cold, calculating execution of the plan from Breivik's bombing in central Oslo to his arrival on Utoya Island where youth were attending a summer camp as guests of the Workers Party. Here Breivik shot, without mercy, as many youth as he could to punish the political actions of the Workers Party which was pro-refugee.

The film focuses on Breivik and his seemingly insane politics, one of the families whose son was shot five times, and the workings of Breivik's reluctanat legal team assigned to defend him.

During the legal proceedings Breivik became the loneliest man in the world. Not even his mother would testify on his behalf.

This is not meant to be entertaining nor win awards. Its job is to inform and elighten people about the events of 22 July. This it does well in its own compelling way.

3 wonks for a compelling history lesson
0 wanks for being an unpretentious look at political depravity

This clip is not for the squeamish.
