...it slathers on overwhelming doses of digital FX, rewrites the girl in the future as a bigger romantic interest and adds a specific villian leader in the form of a larger than life hollywood type.Joy. When you aspire to make nothing more than drivel you can't be surprised at the result. As a big fan of '50s- '60s SF I expect very little of this.
Buy the DVD of the original instead.
