I'm about to install a HT system and have not yet owned a DVD player. This will be a fairly high end system for video only, so I want a good player with decent features. The question is, how soon will this format be outmoded. Should I expect to be replacing DVD with some new technology, or will I be adding a different type of playback machine to the rack? Thanks.
