Quality vs. Quantity

Digital cable is really an attempt by the cable companies to compete against the satellite services with their multitude of channels. The problem is that the signal suffers from many of the same compression/artifact problems due to too many channels and not enough bits. Unless your analog cable is very poor quality, or you simply must have a kazillion channels, I would avoid it.
