Question on DVD-Audio vs. DVD-Video

I currently own what I think is a pretty good DVD video player. I'm considering getting a DVD audio player and/or an SACD player. Right now I've bought some DVD-A music discs, but played them through their DTS trackes on by DVD video player. I know this may be a foolish question (not my first or last!) but given that I'm choosing high quality DVD-A discs, will I notice the difference going to DVD-A (or SACD) from how I'm listening now (the 5.1 track on DVD-video)?
