I have the non-US version of the STR-DA5ES, called STR-VA555ES.It's got one of the best processors out there. I think the main L+R outputs might need upgrade to separate amp(s) in the future, though. I use mine to drive a Sonus Faber speaker set... and it works quite well.
What do you need to know about the ES amp, btw?
