I bought mine in 1985. Still works beautifully, no repairs needed.
It was "top of the line" back then.

My original remote also died. Most of its functions are now filled
by a very standard cheap (US$10) RCA universal remote.

The only thing I miss is S-video, not present on this set. That was
introduced later. It does have a form of RGB input, however I don't
think it is compatible with present gear in that respect.

I really like the multi-input switching, two composite inputs,
four "video" inputs, independent sound input-output - this set was
ahead of its time for simple home theatre.
