I think the Finals would do nicely in your environment, but have only heard them inside a booth at CES -- and we both know what type of acoustic environment that isn't ;-)
The Denon receiver might be a little light weight, plus I'd take a close look at the impedance curve, most ESLs tend to have their minimum impedance at the top of the frequency spectrum.
You would have to seriously check out the ability of the Denon to deliver into that load.
